We need to take a look at where this country is going. We need to stop turning a blind eye to what is happening. I know that Glen Beck is a mormon andwe shouldn't get our doctrine from him but I do believe he loves this country and is enlightening us to what is happening in this nation.

Mentioning him before, I got a bunch of cliches'. Please view this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LZWqrHd3r4 Refute this intelligently or lets hear what you think. The only reason I am putting this out on this forum is to prompt a discussion on the scenario that we may be headed into the end times.

I know many will say we already are in the last days but more specifically I am talking the total collapse of the world monetary system and emergence of a One world government and currency. Famine in this country, Stripping us of our rights, etc.

Well, let's just say it's all true for a moment. The world monetary system collapses and all the repercussions of that. Here comes the end-times. Here comes the anti-Christ.

Should we be doing anything different than what we are suppose to be doing right now?

We already know the whole world will go after the anti-Christ. The U.S. will not be spared. Many people professing to be Christians will fall away and embrace the world. True Christians will be persecuted for their faith.

Christians should just keep doing what they are already suppose to be doing.

    peace to you:praying:

I said this to you before and will say it again, if your source for truth and eschatological insight is Glenn Beck than you've got your focus messed up.

This guy is a false prophet seeking to deceive the Church and her members. As he is part of a heretical sect he is disqualified from offering any legitimate insight for Christians.

Please provide scriptural proof for this.. that this will happen right before the return of Christ.

I'm not arguing.. and in some ways I agree.. but all I can find is my opinions read into scripture..

If you have something more definitive, I would love to see it.

Wasn't Christ himself born during the reign of a one-world government called the Roman Empire? Talk about turbulent times! Yet God's will was still accomplished.

We are closer now than ever before to Christ's return. If we think about the very worst scenario--loss of America to another government that strips our "rights," persecutes Christians, etc, what then? God will still be on the throne. He will still guide us safely through or guide us home to heaven. Our job is to be about our Father's business, just as Christ was, no matter what the current political status.

Please refute with facts. Watch his video and tell me where he is wrong. I know he is mormon but that doesn't make him a liar intentionally deceiving the church.

Shouldn't this be in the "Politics" forum of the Board? Also, don't forget that the Baptist Board has a world-wide membership. It is not just for Americans. So we all need to take care when using expressions such as "this country", which obviously mean something different, depending on swhere you live.

Jesus taught - can be inferred from his teaching - that we have been in the "last times" for 2000 years.

Exactly WHY would the international bankers who own the international corporations and the money system crash THEIR money system? They already own and/or control everything.

The only questionable entity is Red China. The worst that might happen is WW3 to settle the Red China problem.

Your last point is the only one worth replying to, do you honestly think Beck is in a prophetic role with the Church?

Do you believe he, an avowed heretic, has a prophetic voice for the Church?

Also, if (this is a giant IF) we are in the last days, and since you hold to a dispensational premillenialism, what can the Church do to change the acts of God? Seems to me when I read the Scriptures there is nothing the Church can do to change that, it is inevitable.
