G.O.P. Platform on Abortion should be more prominent

    Not according to the laws on the books in some of the Southern states. I haven't checked the laws in the Northern slave states. While the laws were not always enforced, they were still on the books, and there are some recorded instances of Southern slave owners being found guilty of abusing their slaves.

    Well, at any rate, slavery still continues and so does abortion. I think abortion is worse than slavery because the baby is helpless and is being killed in what is supposed to be the safest place in the world - the womb.

    Killing a slave is as bad as killing an unborn baby. But that is murder, not slavery. Abortion is murder.
