As with any person in academia, she has errors and strengths.
Eat the chicken, spit out the bones. Some pieces of chicken that folks like are the neck and back. But for me, those pieces have TOO MANY BONES!

If I were you, Jim, I'd throw out the chicken. That ugly bird is no good!

Considering the 'academia' and 'scholarship' of KJV-onlyism, this grand imperial nabob of the "ONLY" movement has her credentials in home economics! Perhaps she might have a recipe for perfectly providentially preserved pickles (mmmmmm...... PICKLES! [IMG] )

I have a video at home out of the "Riplinger Lecture Series". It basically goes like this:

A pastor of a large "fundamental" church gets up and gives a glowing introduction including her academic degrees... without mentioning that they are in Home Economics.

He then invites her to share her "testimony"... relying I suppose on semantics to avoid that sticky issue of her preaching from his pulpit.

She then gets up and preaches to these supposed fundamentalists for 45 minutes to hearty amens.

This kind of thing just demonstrates the more that KJVO is not fundamental in its nature and that people who ascribe to it will deny biblical truth in order to sustain belief in it.

If only those who call themselves 'fundamentalists' would take a look at the inherent deceptions of this woman! There is nothing good about her, or the KJV-only nonsense she peddles.

Hey, my wife is blonde, too! Phillip, if you put both of our wives in a car, does it mean that the car is equipped with 'dual airbags'??

OK, back to the thread....

If she exhales and moves her lips at the same time, I'd consider it offensive.

Yeah... you could be right. Her "lecture" I saw was complete with scripture citation, exposition of biblical "truth", "amens" from the amen corner, etc.... and even the heart-rending story of how she came to recognize the wickedness of the NIV while trying to help one of her students through a rough spot.

Sure, reminded me of a college professor alright. [IMG] :D  ;)

Did anybody see the black and white video where the preacher introduced her and she began talking about how the NIV is the "anti Christ" because it fails 3 tests of God's word?.

She says the NIV left out 64,000 words that are in the KJV. So, the NIV has 64,000 LESS words (she actually said that last part too, not realizing the NIV used different words in its translations.

Why in the WORLD would a church allow someone like this to lecture during their preaching time?

She isn't even a good lecturer.

By the way, how old is Mrs. Rip. She said she was a Catholic for 26 years, then later she said she was a Christian for 20 years. Some of her other statements about her life seem to put her around 75 years of age. She certainly is a "well preserved 75." [IMG]

Especially considering the fact that she just said that both the NIV and NASB are anti-christ because they both deny the diety of Christ.

She keeps getting "amens" from the crowd. Obviously, the pastor has them well-whipped into shape.

How about the pastors on this website, do you have your members whipped into shape this well?

New update. Gail now says that the Thief on the cross was NOT saved in the NIV because he said Jesus and did not say Lord Jesus.

Same thing at the woman at the well. All of these people (she named others) were NOT saved in the NIV, according to Mrs. RIP.

Here's Gail's latest logic. For those of you who know anything about logic, this should be enjoyable.

Time magazine did an article on heaven and found out that 65% of all Americans now do not believe in heaven. Obviously, according to Gail, the reason for this is that the NIV has left out the word heaven some 116 times; therefore, our culture doesn't believe in it.

REAL INTELLECTUAL LOGIC there for a so-called college professor.

ASd, very sad...and people just eat it up.

Doesn't say much for the intellectual level of America, does it?

How does Gail sleep at night?

Yet again G.(god) A(and) Riplinger’s lies and deceptions just goes on to prove that KJVOism covers a multitude of sins as long as the person is KJVO. In order to support Riplinger, a KJVOist must compromise the truth in order to blind eye her lies. I simply do not see how anyone can support Riplinger. Only those deceived and the dishonest will support Mrs. god and.

Riplinger should have been tossed out of the pulpit and a sermon on integrity should have been preached! [IMG]

*Yes I know not all KJVOist support Riplinger. David Cloud exposed some of Riplinger’s lies. I’m only taking about the dishonest extremist and the KJVOist who are truly ignorant to the facts.

    I listened for six minutes.
Then she bashed one of my Bibles.
    I turned her off thinking:

    1Ti 2:12 (KJV1611):
But I suffer not a woman to teach,
nor to vsurpe authoritie ouer the man,
    but to be in silence.
