    I'll say it again...

    ...I'm not a Republican.

And if you agree with fiscal responsibility, how can you support this healthcare boondoggle?

IMO - it's a personal thing. He wants to get on that particular gravy train.

So--it is now offensive to hide behind the Bible. Strange, I thought Christians were to hold the Bible with respect and love it is after all the word of God. I am proud to use His word as my shield. Of course liberals like LB, Snow, and others probably don't understand that.

As far as hiding behind the Constitution, the Dems and other liberals shredded that document years ago.

You mean since TJ did the Louisiana purchase or when the founding fathers told all the states to send them their debt from the revolutionary war.

Va had just about paid off their debt so they violently protested. That is why the government bought a patch of land from the commonwealth of VA and named it Washington DC.

Because it will save money over time. It is the fiscally responsible thing to do.

For starters, we can stop subsidizing the health care industry.

Ummm...I'll ask the oft-ignored question once again: Since when did government do anything more cost-effectively than private enterprise?
The one concession about it "saving money": It might save money...if the government does what they do in Britain, and refuse tons of people coverage. They might do what Britain did, and say, "no help for this huge group of chronic back pain sufferers." (SOURCE) Yeah...that saves money...it just doesn't help people or preserve freedom. (But since when were you guys concerned about freedom?)

Wow...is John Kerry writing your material?

"We can stop subsidizing the healthcare industry by completely paying for it."

Next thing you know, you'll vote for this plan before you vote against it.

    >The Federal Government has been over ruling the Constitution since that great socialist president Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

At least since Lincoln's War. Probably since the Constitutional Convention. The argument back then Constitution fight was the big northern businesses against the southern farmers. Big business won and always wins. Why? I suspect because of the "anyone can grow up to be president and/or rich" propaganda. All those good Christians trusting Jesus to make them rich.

Really? All by himself? When did the President become the writer of law?
