    Was the Lord speaking to the local, regional, national, or international civil government when he said those things? No, He was speaking to His followers. The passage you have quoted is to the church and not to the state.

    I say it again, someone has to pay off the deficit... Charging Bill Gates another 3% won't loose any jobs or cause us to consume less products...

    Please be real. if it was just about the deficit we would be having a whole other conversation. You want to take money form one person and give it to another.
