Ben Stein is coming out with a movie "Expelled" see the trailers at expelledthemovie dot com.

On the blog associated with that movie we see the viceral opposition among both atheists and Christians to the Genesis account. They not ONLY oppose the Genesis account they ALSO oppose EVOLUTION if it ADMITs that the one behind what we see in Nature "is seen to be intelligent at all". In other words looking at "his painting" they claim "IT shows NO INTELLIGENCe at all behind it"!!

How about you? Do you also find God's "account" of the literal 6 "evenings and mornings" in which the creation of all life on earth AND the formation of our Sun and Moon took place to be "trustworthy"?

Or do you toss exegesis out the window and seek to compromise the text of Genesis with atheist darwinism to "help God out"??

    I think Genesis IS trustworthy.

I think that ID is NOT the same thing as "creationism" even though the believers in atheist-darwinism prefer to claim that it IS creationism.

ID simply says that living systems demonstrate design and architecture to a level that can not be accounted for by "naturalism alone" and that this is easily demonstrated in the lab.

ID is a form of evolutionism that is not openly hostile to the Genesis account in the way that atheist darwinism IS -- in fact ID states facts at "a general level" that could be embraced by both evolutionists AND creationists.

I myself would be a creationist in that context -- not an evolutionist.

But the blog shows the outright distaste and mischaracterization that atheists have for anyone who holds EITHER to ID OR to Creationism.

The good news is that Ben Stein appears to be exposing the rank censorship tactics practiced by atheist darwinists as they seek to maintain a stranglehold over science and education.

    Speaking of fish tales

Anyone here know the relationship of Colecanth to Tiktaalik?

-- When the atheist darwinist says something appears to be designed -- what does he mean?
