    Way to go!

I do hope, however, for the sake of those whose lives are honestly at stake, that the medical community would be allowed to save the mother's life without such a 'warrant.'

this will never stand up in the supreme court - which in the unlikely event that this bill is passed is where it will end up.....

Is this how the UK looks at the US? That we can just can the idea that we have any beliefs for the rights of the unborn? I, as a citizen of this country, believe in our political system and that there is a great possibility for this "death warrant" to pass. We,in this country,do learn from our mistakes. We have admitted our mistakes, unlike other countries, which is why we continue to be a strong nation.

    Great possibility to pass, yes.

To stand up in the SC, I'm not so sure.

The whole reasoning behind Roe v Wade was that the existing blanket laws against abortion violated the fourth amendment. This would certainly do that as well, if the existing logic was applied.

This bill begs the question: what or who is being defended? At the very least, I suppose, a law like this one would force the issue of the personhood of a fetus.

Notice between which two Commandments the "one in question" (Exodus 20:13) lies.

What a wonderful time to live in. I am hopeful that the unborn will be protected.

Hello Dawn. Is Foothills in Hardy, if so we're neighbors. Glad to have ya anyway, for sure. My wife cooks some "mean" homemade biscuits, float right off your plate, specially with homemade strawberry freezer jam. Come on down!

    See ya'll ------Bart

Nah. This kind of stuff gets written and introduced all the time in state legislatures. I doubt it will even make it out of committee.

Bobby Franklin is a nut, in the Cynthia McKinney & Bob Barr vein of politicians that Ga produces. All he is doing is driving conservative "rational" men and women out of the Republican party.
