    100 years ago today, August 1st, 1914, Germany declared war on Russia. We are still paying for the mistakes of the European rulers mistakes that lead to the "War to End All Wars".

    Historians say that when the opposing factors signed the Treaty of Versaillis-----the signing of the treaty lit the fuse that started World War II!!!

    I completely agree with your comment. In fact, we are still trying to solve problems created by WW I and by decisions made at Versailles. In a way WW I never really ended.

    The sins of the fathers ...........................
