Pelosi is all the things that Gingrich said.

If she was a Republican, she would already be on her way out.

Democrats are slow to eat their own, but she is toast.

The video of her statement shows how nervous she is. The reason is she is a liar and has been caught in a blatant lie. Her efforts to mitigate the damage are laughable and pathetic.

The hypocrisy of liberalism is once again on display.

Bill Clinton's adminstration initiated a policy of taking suspected terrorists to countries that used torture (Eygpt, Saudi Arabia, etc..,) to be "interrogated" outside of U.S. Laws. These countries interrogations techniques are far worse than water-boarding, or anything else that was done to suspects in U.S. custody.

The Republicans are saying that if Pelosi and the dems want to go after Bush, or anyone else over the issue of torture, they better expect questions about the activities condoned and insituted by the Clinton administration, which clearly was intended to avoid U.S. Law against torture.

    peace to you:praying:

I believe you first departed from the OP in your post #10:

"This whole "debate" could end up biting the GOP and Bush very hard. If it becomes messy enough that a Truth Commission is appointed they much more will be revealed and I really do not think either the GOP nor Bush, nor Chaney really want that."

I believe canadyjd has already adequately responded to your great concern about the Clinton period.:tonofbricks::tonofbricks:
