So said a Twitter tweet sent out by New York News and Politics contributor Adam Schweigert Sunday. Why? Because the "Glitch Girl" has disappeared!! http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/10/28/plot-thickens-mystery-obamacare-covergirl-goes-awol/ White House media reps had been bugging W/H spokesrat Jay Carney for her identity for over a week, but he steadfastly refused to give it. Then, Sunday night, the icon-for-girl replacement showed up. It's kinda understandable. David Burge of the blog IowaHawk tweeted, "Congrats, vapidly smiling http://Healthcare.gov splash page stock photo girl! You're now the most despised face on planet Earth!" That kind of sentiment makes it hard to show your face in public, I would think, particularly if it has become the face of futility in connection with the utterly failed ACA website. By the way, despite speculation about her photo being "stock" in nature, or perhaps a Photoshop composite "everywoman," website admin types say she is a real girl, so I'll bet she asked them to remove the photo so she could go to the grocery story or class again.
