Solution. I have made arrangements to be raptured, and there will be one less mouth to feed, and one less carbon footprint to nuetralize. Praise God, and come quickly, Lord Jesus.

What kind of science is that? Temperatures can be "raised by 10-20* due to global warming is something I can grasp. But temperatures being lowered by that same amount doesn't compute. Here in KY, in two consecutive years we had one of the coldest summers on record, followed by one of the hottest on record. I hear a lot about "global warming" supposedly associated with this phenenom but little about "global cooling". It would appear that one is just as likely as the other, to this layman. And BTW, it was reported today that Mars was experiencing the same phenomenom of "global warming" with the CO2 polar ice caps melting there? That was during the same news hour that reported on the St. Paul conference being cancelled, BTW.

Uh, has anyone checked to see what the mean surface temperature of the sun, and the amount of infra-red radiation emitted, has been for the last few years compared to previous years?

Or is that too much like "actual scientific analysis" to suit the modern PC quasi-science crowd, like the celebrity crowd? Further, what is the standard for what is "normal"? How do we know the optimum surface temperature of the earth would not be two degrees 'cooler' or two degrees 'warmer'. There is all kinds of evidence that the earth has been both much cooler than today, and also much warmer. I just don't approve of "junk science", nor do I think that Science should be any sacred cow. In fact, I believe the Scriptures speak of "science falsely so-called", if my memory is not failing. It ain't, so far, anyhow!

John 6:27-29

"Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."

Ed, I cannot believe a guy who understands scripture as well as you do takes his eye off the heavens and turns it toward the creation. Safe to say i think your wrong on this one.

Gore went to Viet Nam. GW got into the National Guard only with his father's influence because there were 100 on a waiting list ahead of him. Then he went AWOL. Now GW struts his stuff as a "veteran" and you fools put down Gore.

There ya have it folks.

Gore can be as hypocritical as he wants. He used a typewriter in Viet Nam, so, now he can buy carbon offsets from himself, encourage you to do the same, as he flys around in private jets, is driven around in SUVs, and uses more power in one month, in one of his houses, than I will use in my one house in an entire year.

I heard it said today and I have to agree. I do not care for Al Gores politics but I do not want out former vice presidents and former presidents traveling around in electric cars and living in any old neighborhood. He may be living a bit hypocriticle but I will be glad to give him some leeway on this. They deserve the security.

I may be a 'fool' (careful, there), but I have not put down Al Gore, myself. I guess I could, if asked. I have put down the 'pseudo-science' of "know-it-all" global warming, and I think effectively, at that, in a few words. NO, I am not trying to pollute anything, and have many more trees on our farm, now than were around when I was a child, do whatever is necessary to avoid polluting water run-off (although I cannot help "gully washers" always), and want good clean air and water for me and my family. But I don't need any 'environmentalist Nazis' to tell me that. I am able to figure it out for myself.

Gore appears to still be desperately trying to make up for his embarrassment at having the Kyoto Protocol he "negotiated" rejected by the Senate 95-0.

He attempted to sell out the economy of the US and got caught. The entire Senate agreed it was a bad agreement. That's pretty amazing when one realizes how difficult it is to get anything at all done in the Senate without at least one dissenter.

Yup. God made me bald, after my chemotherapy. I survived lymphoma, but my coif didn't. Thanx for reminding me.

Al Gore sure duped a lot of very weak, unstudied, & worldly christians, IMHO.

All I mentioned was temperatures being raised.
I don't know where you got temperatures being lowered.

BTW, the mean (numerical average) temperature can be raised
while the variation (sigma) temperature increases -
this would make warmer warms and colder colds.

BTW Global Warming is a POLITICAL issue.
Politics is the process of deciding who gets what.
Armed robery is politics (I, the robber,
vote with a gun you, the victim, give me your share of
the money). I'll do as much as I can to make sure the
the extra heat goes to the Global Warming deniers.
Global Warming is real & worldly - I suggest unreal
(like denying something is heating up the surface of
the earth and there is something each of us can do
about it) &/or a heavenly mind set.

You do know that air conditioners heat the outside more than they
cool the inside? So it takes heat to make more cool.
If the sun is kicking out more, then cooler cools will be present
on the surface of the earth as well as hotter hots and a
higher average (mean) temperature.

Did somebody say "Kyoto Treaty"?

Never did make much sense, since EVERY "progressive" country that's ratified it doesn't have to adhere to the standards, it's more a pinky swear to "try to".

Mr. Kyoto (Canada) is yet another hypocrite:

http://winnipegsun.com/News/Columnists/Brodbeck_Tom/2007/02/22/365

3725.html

A tour bus, kinda like the one the Partridge family had. I wonder if he sells carbon offsets to himself like Al Gore does.
