Gluttony. Why is it tolerated?

    Thanks for the kind words bro.

    I will definitely pray for you about it. It's a lifestyle change, takes a change of mind (repentance literally) and be patient and consistent.

    I don't have any disabilities, but, if this matters, I do suffer from pain in my lifting routine, and it's not easy, but I push through. Here's how I stay motivated: I know when I get up, what day it is to train which part, and NONE of it is easy, let me tell you, but I know that after I'm done? Guess who just won? Me, by the grace of God.

    And for 46 years old, and pumping out squats in the high 300's, and ALL THE WAY below parallel, I figure that aint too bad. And I'm hitting in the 600 rep range every week (which includes 3 sets of 100 rep leg extensions to start off)

    If I can do it, anyone can. So too can you. You'll be in my prayers to Him for success.

    I would not necessarily vote against a fat person - as webdog said.
    Keep in mind EW&F asked about a "fat guy" not one who has an issue with gluttony.

    Yes I can see how that would promote weight loss. If you offered me that for breakfast, I would lose weight pretty fast, not to mention my cookies. Blech! :saint:

    LOL!!! bro, I was in walmart, looked all over for rice cakes, so I ask a worker, he says "they in aisle 6, but we got styrofoam cups too!" LOL!

    I eat good though man, just not junk. Lot's of meat, good carbs.

    Paul himself wrote to FBC Corinth (I Cor 9:27) "I buffet my body and bring in under control."

    BTW, that's pronounced buf-fay.

    Due to the fact that "we" let persons be gluttonous, and gorge themselves to death, but lo and behold! you drink one beer, and some holiness (no pants, no movies, no "public bathin') propagatin' coulottes wearin', buffet eatin', gorge nightly Bab-teest sees you tiltin' one back, she's all over you about that "sin!!!"
