Must be the Chinese will sell it as a military vehicle ... I've always thought people who buy a Hummer are not showing much intelligence.

Good luck with that. A niche vehicle that no one wants and has terrible fuel economy. It's past its prime.

If the Chinese are going to start going into the auto business by making Hummers, that will be a disastrous undertaking. Anything that China has made when compared to its competition has been very crummy at best.

China has had a history of using lead on toys, dog / cat food, & paint. Will they make their Hummers out of lead too? Doing so would decrease the fuel efficiency even more.

Anybody who uses a portrait of a (hard to describe) for their BB avatar does not show much intelligence.

Or could it be simply a matter of (freedom of) choice

I probally would never buy a hummer beacuse of the poor gas milage - but if you want one - I say - go for it

Big, bulky, lousy gas milage, road hogs. Of course I live in an urban area. I can see a person having one if there is a real off road need for one. But for just driving around it isn't very smart to my mind.

Most the people who have them here seem to have them as status symbols, not from any real need for such a vehicle.

Unless I had a real compelling need in Montana, I'd hate to feed this gas guzzler. You have lots of open territory with lots of miles between places, i.e. Montana State Route 200 through Jordan and on west.

Glad you like my avatar. It is a photo I took in a Czech museum. It is of the artist's father and the father's face is reflected in the eyes.

It is an amazing painting ... at least in my mind.
