I saw Sue's thread about .tif files and was wondering about Gmail. I've heard a lot about it, but what's the difference in it and Yahoo mail? They're both web-based, right?

I have never used Yahoo! Mail, but I do use GMail, I really like it!! I can give you a free GMail account if you want it, I have 100 free invites, you can email me a [email protected] if you want one.

I have been using gmail for almost two years now - they are constantly adding new features. It is still in Beta so can be a bit "funny" at times, but it is all I use and I can't imagine using anything else.

I like the new "view as html" feature that I mentioned to Sue.

I have a Gmail account of two, but I hardly ever use it.

I have used Yahoo for what seems like forever (3 years or so).

Gmail started with 1 GB of space, now up to 2716mb and counting. Yahoo and the rest are just trying to keep up. Gmail also has free POP, and the search comes in handy too [IMG]

I have a personal Yahoo account and a corporate Eudora account. I've heard good things about gmail but haven't had any problems to speak of with what I have ...

So how do you do that? But more importantly, why would you want to? [IMG]

I have a few accounts for different purposes. For example I use my mission board address for email in the States because they are standard for all our missionaries. I have all of that sent to my main gmail addy and can reply using that address. I want my email addy here to be associated with our ministry ([email protected]) here in Irleand so I can have all that forwarded here and reply using that address, etc. I have a junk account that I use if I don't want anyone knowing my real addy, so I can send from there and not have it forwarded to my main addy.

You simply go to "accounts" and simply add each addy you want to use.
