News flash: Evil IS allowed to run amok. So is good. We decide by our individual actions whether we are going to choose to do evil, or do good. It's called free will. Be thankful for evil, for without it, you would not be able to choose to cast evil aside. You would not be a person, you'd be a puppet. Ain't it amazing how all things, even evil, work together for God's glory?

Good does run amok, but the media don't give it the time of day.

Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Do come work for Habitat for Humanity. I've done both. I can tell you that there's so much good running loose, there's little anyone can do to put a cap on it. Unfortunately, such good is often taken for granted by others, while the slightest apearance of evil makes headlines.

1Cr 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

To spout salvation, and then sit on one's laurels while people need our help, is what is truly "liberal", not to mention hypcritical. Let love be without hypocrisy Rom 12:9

Jesus said feed to do things like feed the hungry and hep the poor. Putting food in the the stomachs of the hungry, and a roof over the homeless IS the Gospel. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Matt 25:35,40

I think it's sad that you prefer to judge your fellow brother rather than help a fellow brother. To say that Habitat for Humaniity does little, if any, good, is a clear reflection of your self-righteous, pompous, and, in this case, incorrect, attitude. You'll never know the joy of fellow Christians working together to build a house for a family that has no roof over their heads. You'll never know the gratitude seen in the eyes of a homeless widow with four children, who, when you hand her a house key, has tears streaming down her face. You'll never know the satisfaction of watching a 9 year old boy realize that he has a permanent place to lay his head, for probably the first time in his life. How sad for you that your heart is closed to such loving charity.
