Did I say that? Evangelism is talking to lost people about Christ.

What would be your reaction if confronted by someone who is irritated by your tampering with their vehicle by placing a tract under the windshield wiper or wedging it in the door or however you would normally leave it?

Add: I ask because of this statement of yours made in another current thread about a similar topic:

" Believe me I have put one person in jail, and greatly humbled a "Charismatic pastor" for harassing me while doing evangelism. The police got on the pastor and he apologized.

My point is that I have the freedom to pass out gospel tracts and place them on cars in public areas.

Reminds me of my (somewhat) tongue in cheek post I made about scattering tracts along the sides of roads so the trash collecting people would find them and read them. Putting tracts under windshield wipers is barely one step removed from littering.

If nothing else, it irritates people and (I believe) gives the impression that followers of Christ do not respect others' property.

It is like wedding a flyer in someone's front door six inches from the No Soliciting sign.

Sharing the Gospel of Christ gives people the impression that Christians do not respect others' beliefs.

    guess we should stop?

I disagree. Forcing it upon them shows a disregard for others' beliefs. The Gospel can be shared without granting that impression.
