    San Francisco lost today despite leading 3-0 going into the bottom of the ninth. The Astros are blowing away Colorado, 7-1, through five innings.

    With a win they will lead in the wild card race by one game over San Francisco with one game left. [​IMG]

    In mid-August I had no hope that they would make the playoffs. Now they are in the driver's seat for the wild card spot. WOW!!!! [​IMG]

    Astros won, 9-3. They now control the wild card spot with one game to go!

    Have to admit they are the HOTTEST in baseball right now. And on paper, far inferior to all the other teams.

    Rockheads will kill him if he is tired or weak. Even at sea level, they are a powerhouse team that preys on weak pitchers.

    Of course, the Rockies have NO pitching, so NO hope of ever winning a pennant!

    Yipee.....................Astros win! On to Atlanta! Clements came down with stomach flu. He'll be ready for the Braves. I like the Astros chances ina short series; Oswalt and Clements, travel, Bakke, etc. Momentum!
