GOD still heals

    Hey Ladies and Gentlemen:
    I haven't posted in a while, been very busy. Since I know that everyone needs a little sunshine, thought I would bring you some.
    In Feb. of this year my mother was diagnosed with a tumour, which was malignat, in the right rear portion of her brain. He told us that she probably had a couple of months and then it would return, even after he had removed it. She was given 6 months.
    I was privileged to lead the prayer asking GOD for mercy, before she was taken to surgery. We were told it would be at least 6 hours before he would be finished with her. At about 2 to 3 hours he appeared. Naturally, we thought the worst. His words were, "I can't explain it, but when we opened her up, the tumour fell out. We didn't have to cut anything loose." He also said it would be back in a couple of months.
    Fri. it was announced tha if her MRI she has done in Jan. is as clear as the last 3, she will be declared a cancer survivor. Praise the Lord. She is still singing in the choir at our church.
    Remember Jer. 17:14. GOD does heal. I have seen it done.

    Rick, PRAISE THE LORD.

    So often people pray and percieve that it hasnt worked and give up, becoming easy targets for Cessationism. Yet it is testimonys like this that we need to hear more of, and all the glory to God our Father for it. [​IMG]

    So many people really think that God doesn't perform miracles anymore - what a shame. God works miracles in lives everyday! Some of them obvious (which we still sometimes fail to see) and others not-so-obvious, but all of them magnificent!

    Think we ALL rejoice when God does a miraculous healing. Praise His Name.

    What most Baptists get really irritated with are MEN taking credit for what God does. Shyster evangelists and faith healers who dupe and deceive and then, if God DOES heal, strut like peacocks.
