Bangladesh still executes Christians under Islamic Law . . .

Someday Muslims want to execute Christians in America . . . some started that in 2001.

What are you talking about? It is not illegal to be Christian in Bangladesh. The Christian community isn't large, but it is there - they have Christian names like Clement, Simon, Magdalena, Sebastian. They've been around since the Portugese missionaries.

Do you think there are no Christians who would like to execute Muslims (or Jews or gays or whomever)? There are bad apples in every barrel.

And I thought that you were married to a muslim.

They still take out orders to execute their own family in Bangladesh. My friend was sent here by his family to convert the infidels . . . God brought him to faith, and his father went down and had the order written up to have his own son killed for becoming a Christian. Any muslim killing him was 'free from the guilt of murder'.

So, what are you talking about? Where do you get this islam that you talk about? It is not from the real world.

And if one of your many pretend Christians that you always talk about want to kill homosexuals or muslims - remember that they are NOT Christian.

The nice thing about Christianity is that you actually have to DO something that shows your faith is real. Unlike some other religions that ask their believers to kill in the name of a hateful 'god'.

You thought wrong. I'm married to someone from a predominantly Muslim country. His family is secular and he is vaguely deist.

I asked Mr. Daisy and he said that he has never heard of such a thing, but he has said that the country has gotten more religious than it was when he was a boy. For instance, people used to answer the phone with "Hello" and now it's "Praise Allah". In Arabic which no one speaks there. A lot of this is new, not "still".

Yes it is. What you don't seem to understand is that an anecdotal horror story is not typical.

Right, because true Christians are perfectly loving and never dehumanize their enemies.

That fact is the basis for a bit of increased concern.

True, "an" anecdotal horror story isn't, but an increasing number indicate change.

It appears that dehumanizing enemies is a trait mankind as a whole has not overcome.

A lot of concern. The Saudi influence is growing. The US had been a strong influence since we supported (at the end) the Bangladeshi separation from (then) West Pakistan, independence. The Saudis have invested a lot of money and time there in the last couple of decades.

Elections are in January so strife will probably increase until then.

Agreed! Perhaps the strife will decrease afterwards.

If half of what she says is true, she is hiding in the sand.

I have never been married to, nor do I have anyone in my family married to, a muslim.

However, I have had friends that I have asked questions of . . . and the picture that muslims paint of themselves is not a glowing report of how good their cultures are. But, the painting they paint of America is rather universal: Americans are good enough to die for muslims until they are free from islamic dictators . . . and then maybe they might be nice to us.

Christians are discriminated against there, but it is not shariia. If it makes a difference, there are Christian terrorists in the North.

    Daisy,

Everyone that disagrees with your descriptions you will call a terrorist.

While Christians have defended themselves against islamic militias, murderers and terrorists are not Christians. There is a huge difference between the murder of bystanders and the defense of one's home or village.

Going into the neighboring communities and killing people because the worship Jesus is a very muslim thing.

The fact that you continue to praise the muslims that murderer and blame Christians for the actions of the murderous muslims is unreal at best.

But, to point out the obvious - that would be like me killing the next person I saw wearing a turban. It is WRONG.

We need to start defending the rights of Christians around the world to be able to live without the fear of being murdered. This has gone on for centuries.

All that I am asking is for muslims to give peace a chance - instead of blowing themselves up to stop peace and start a war.

If they choose to worship mohamed and his little idol of a god - let them choose. But, they need to quit killing the true worshipers of the only True God.

Since I never have yet, when do you think I will begin?

I am not the one who has designated The National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) as a terrorist organization. They self-identify as Christians.
oh, they're not real(tm) Christians so it doesn't count

How do you distinguish political and territorial violence from religious violence?

    Unreal and untrue.

The Sikhs certainly agree. Turbans are not a Muslim thing, they are a regional-cultural thing.

You know, I'd take that a step further and say that we should defend the rights of all people around the world to live without the fear of being murdered. This has gone on since Cain.

Most Muslims do prefer peace much like other people.

They don't worship Mohammed and they are the opposite of idolators (no representations of gods are allowed, and the strictest don't allow representations of people or animals either).

    And vice versa.

Your vice versa was in response to "they need to quit killing the true worshipers of the only True God." . . . How can there be a vice versa? True worshipers of God are not going around killing muslims. And God is either the One True God, or He is not the True God.

Therefore, I find your vice versa difficult to understand at best.

Amen. As we check back through history, some Christians have had to literally hide underground when they were invaded by muslims. Such as in Cappadocia.

    http://www.townhall.com/columnists/...ng_long-term_about_christian-muslim_relations

Islam presently is on the third jihad to overtake and rule the world and nations are falling one by one like dominoes. Christians in many, many countries are being persecuted and murdered by muslims and even "moderate" muslims will turn to jihad to kill Christians if it means they themselves will be killed by fellow muslims for not following the quran to kill infidels. Christians even in the West may find themselves hiding underground to escape the sword of islam, just as earlier Christians have had to do. History repeats itself.

You really think that the moment one worships the one True God, one becomes incapable of sin?

No - I believe that Christians do sin, but do not continue in blatant sin. And, I do not place the evil actions of those worshiping satan at the feet of my Holy Lord and Savior. Those that worship satan and commit evil in the name of Jesus are just as doomed as those that do not have Jesus.

Those that commit evil and fake Christianity are just as evil as muslims.

    There are two destinations
    - - - those true followers of the One True God go to be with God;
    - - - all others . . . well it don't look to good for their team.
