Yes, a Passion Play which is typical in most Pietistic Roman Catholic regions including where I am from. To a lesser degree, I have processions of people from Lutheran & Episcopal churches running around town carrying a large wooden cross & I know in my grandmothers neighborhood they go to the local cathedral where they have outdoor stations of the cross.

On Saturday, if you have an Eastern Church like a Polish RC or Polish National, Perhaps a Greek Catholic, Ukrainian or Slovak churches, they will bring the food baskets filled with Ham, Kielbasi, Cheese, Bread, Eggs etc to the church for the priest to bless. Certainly if you come to the Scranton PA area you will see it (that I know).
