Good people in the political process

Just a word of praise for those who belive in the importance of the political process.

My wife and I voted Sunday and got all the paperwork done to file our absentee ballots, somehow - we posted the ballots without postage.

I emailed the county clerk (in charge of absentee ballots) in Alabama and explained what had happened. I asked her if they could receive them and bill be for the postage due. Within minutes she emailed me back and said that she personally would pay the postage!!!

In the letter accompanying the ballot was this statement - ""It is my goal to see that no voter is disenfranchised..." Here is one government worker who meant it!!!
