I have no respect for someone who could have so easily worked in "I had to cut ties..." into this article about trains and railroads, yet did not! Shameful.

Other than that - I run into an occasional person of this nature at times and wow. As easy to be around as attempting to walk barefoot with scattered glass all around. Just easier to find any reason to be elsewhere.

I'd love to see her critique her own article when her kiddo is grown. That could be interesting.

I resent that comment about pink being girlie! In 57 pink was the rage - pink shirt, pink bow tie, pink cords, pink bucks, and wide pink stretchy suspenders! No, they didn't have washable hair coloring back then. :)

It takes a real man to wear pink.

Regarding the over-the-top "racist barrage" on Thomas in the article, I liked what one poster said in his comment:
"When the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."

That may become my new catch phrase .

Baby blue and pink were fad colors about 1954--everyone wore them.

I'm sure I wore "baby blue" then too. But I was two.

You're just a kid! Don't step on my blue suede shoes! We wore red cords and pink shirts, as well as baby blue cords. We had to babysit all you boomers....

I never had a baby sitter, other than my border collie, and he was quite good at it.
