Gotta give God the Praise!!

I am on cloud 9.... I was talking to a teen girl (16 yrs old) last evening that works at a local grocery store... (I always try to go to her line because she went to our youth camp last summer)

In a conversation while going through her checkout line, She was telling me she wasn't a member of the church she goes to... so I asked her why she wasn't a member, and she said she had never been baptized, so I asked her if she has been saved, and she said she has always wanted to, but never had the nerve to go up front...
She says she wanted to at camp last yr, but was afraid to come forward in front of others...
Well she was at work, so I told her I would talk to her later since she was busy, but reassured her that she didn't have to go up front to be saved....

I came home and wrote her a letter, and took it back to her at work. That way she could read it during break. In the letter I told her how to be saved.

She just emailed me and told me she read the letter after she got home last night, and asked God to forgive her and asked Jesus to save her...
And that she will be coming forward this Sunday for baptism at her church! (Which is a sister church in our association)
She also told me that her dad has said that if she becomes a Baptist he will disown her (He is Mormon) But she said she didn't care.. She had to do what God told her to.

After I dropped the letter off to her last night, It hit me, I wonder how many other people are sitting in our churches that doesn't know how to be saved. She had a wrong idea on how to be saved.... but wanted to.

So I posted a bulletin on myspace, with the same basic information I told her, and late last night a friend that I went to school with (that now lives in VA) messaged me and thanked me for the information and told me she accepted Christ last night also! Then she reposted my bulletin for all of her friends...

2 in one day! God is Good!

Sorry, I missed your post the other day...

Here is what I posted on Myspace... It is just the basic Roman's road stuff... but I am surprised how few people really know how to be saved...
That says alot about churches today...
I now know of over 500 people that have read it...

You may already know this, but I want to encourage you to read this, and then simply ask God to save you at the end of this Bulletin. It will be the simplest thing you have ever done. God wants you as his child, and all it takes is for you to be willing to be his child.

How to have Eternal Life:
First, you have to realize that you sin….


Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

And because you sin, you deserve Hell as punishment…
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.


But God loved you enough to make a way for you to escape punishment… Jesus took your punishment on the cross.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

All it takes to be saved is the following:
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.


1 John 5:12-13 He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. (13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Salvation is a free Gift from God. The Scriptures above give us a clear path to a new life in Christ.

Simply read the scriptures above, ask God for the forgiveness of your sins, and begin a new life in Christ!

Simply put:
All have sinned, Therefore all are condemned to Hell, BUT GOD gave his son to be a sacrifice for our sins.

When we accept the fact that Jesus was Crucified for our sins, and then rose on the third day (Which by the way, proved He was God!) All that is left is for you to just tell God you are sorry for your sins, and that you are willing to receive Jesus as your Savior.

That’s it…

So, just bow your head and talk to God…
Tell him you are sorry for your sins, and you accept Jesus as your savior.

When you do, message me and let me know..

Then Sunday go to church, tell the pastor that you accepted Jesus as your savior.

 

Now how could I ever be mad at YOU?!!! lol
