That's wonderful. I hope I respond similarly if the Holy Spirit gives me such an opportunity.

I myself have been given the opportunity to see the film with a Muslim friend of mine. He's become very interrested in Jesus in the last few months.

 

Our daughter in Maine JUST called. A young Catholic woman at her work has some questions she wants to ask ME about the movie. She didn't understand it. She went with her non-Catholic fiance and he sobbed during most of the movie and after they got home. He asked her how oculd she not cry and she told him 'Why? It was just a scary movie.' He told her she has some serious problems and needs to figure it out. She asked my daughter if she could call and talk to me FROM MAINE! Her name is Mary. Pray for the Lord to use me for HIS glory when she calls and for Mary's heart to be prepared.

And all this time I thought the Lord "could'nt", or "wouldn't" use this movie to win people to him.

Praise God He can even use a movie.

I pray the young lady will follow her promise to prayerfully read the scriptures. I commend the recommendation. There is no discussion of the film, no room for it, the focus was immediately upon the need of the Word of God to be taught through the Holy Spirit.

Can you please "lighten up" on you use of scripture a little bit. It is really getting in the way of all of the warm and fuzzy "feelings".

 

Could those of you who are so against this film allow us ONE thread where we can share how God is using this film in OUR lives? Just ONE thread, please....

I have asked Webmaster to allow us a place to discuss our chance to witness because of this movie without interference. I'm waiting for his ruling.

No. I am not Jewish. The christ of this film is not the Lamb of God.

You are entitled to a place to express your feelings on this movie.

I will weigh my beliefs against ecumenicalism and where found in disagreement I will shut up. I will not add my hand to the building of this tower of Babel.

Having said that I will leave off discussing this film on this thread.

I find it sad and I do use the word sad that numbers are accepted as declaring what truth is.

I am barring myself from this thread.

Amen for your witnessing opportunties.

In the last 3 days the Lord has opened 3 witnessing opportunities when I have expressed why I am NOT going to see the film.

We have a MIGHTY God!

Do you think we could get a thread where we could critically analyse the movie without being attacked?

 

Talk about quenching the spirit, every time something good comes from this movie someone has to knock it. why cant you just accept that just maybe God is using people and this movie to bring people to Himself. Stop trying to think for GOD and start being used for Him.I thing I'll just A-Men that myself. A-Men

I am a bit disappointed that a thread has been started where it is possible to express opinions about the other side without a chance of a response. I doubt that we could get an untouchable Passion Critics thread. Maybe so.
