After 7 straight losses, GT beat uga this past Saturday down on the farm, rushing for more than 400 yards. Great to see the Yellow Jackets go 9-3.

Good to be able to breath again.

The dawgs around here have stopped barking, at least for a while.

    What a great game!

And the GT winning streak of 8 games (49-56) holds!

The "Rambling Wreak of Georgia Tech" crashed UGA's party. :applause: :applause:

Wasn't the University of Georgia the preseason number one?

Oh how the mighty have fallen!!! [IMG]

Naw, Vick's dogs at least had some fight in them.

I love the way Tech beat them head to head on the ground. Tech had 409 yards rushing vs Georgia's 81. No-Show Moreno did have 94 yards rushing so if you take his away Georgia had negative yards on the ground, awesome.

Yea, the students of the Athens Agricultural School did throw the ball well, but that is how sissy ball teams from Florida and California play the game.

Outlaw the forward pass, bring back smashmouth in your face football. (at least until we throw the ball better)

Opponent could be LSU or South Carolina. When was the last time we played either of these. I remember playing South Carolina a couple times back in the 80s. I don't ever remember playing LSU.

    I will look it up.

I looked it up, wow intranet is something.

Ga Tech is 12-9 against South Carolina. The last game was in 1991 and we lost 23-14. The game I remember as a student was in 1988. We won that one 34-0.

We are 12-6 against LSU. The last game was the 2000 Peach Bowl. How come I forgot that? I guess because we lost it 28-14.

Before the 2000 peach bowl you have to back to 1963 when Tech was still in the SEC.

That's too bad. I was hoping for the Gator. Not sure if I can get all the way to Atlanta -- especially for New Year's Eve. Looks like I'll be watching it at home.

Well I did it FoS, I purchased Peach Bowl tickets.

Never been to a bowl game before and nothing is closer.

    Looking forward to it already.

Bowl games are a lot of fun. Hope you are able to take your family with you. If you can, try to get into some of the pre-game activities. And please, buy a dog & an FO for me at the V.

We try to go to some of the Orange Bowl stuff -- even when we don't go to the actual game. One thing we try not to miss is the FCA Prayer Breakfast. The coaches and many of the players are there. Usually very good.
