O me! Now this may shock you but the incredible fact that Jesus was sinless is made even more amazing by the truth that he could have sinned.
When tempted by Satan what difference would it have made if he had stated "Lucifer you go ahead and tempt me, but it is impossible for me to sin"
that he. If we believe it impossible for him to sin then his sinless walk was not valid. He was tempted in all ways yet without sin.
I agree there is a line in fellowship vs witness, but I am sorry to inform you that I must answer that question to God myself.

Guy when decideing who is genuine and who is not always remember the parable about the wheat and tares.

I sense your concern and I appreciate it apparently you have emerged from a world we are unfamiliar with, but when you persist in keeping Christians from their trap you keep reasoning that they are so intelligent that our faith will be put in question. #1 God is bigger than the wise
#2 if my faith can be rocked by their responce then i have a problem
#3 I understand that your concern may be more for passersby than for me, and if so then you have a legitimate concern but if the passerby see the false doctrine he better see a true responce

Guy the spirit of antichrist is on the board and just as I would in person I must go against him here.

Sadly it is not finding the antichrist on the ffa boards and other denominations that bother me but rather all the antichristian liberal thinking on the baptist only board.
And I truly believe that Jesus agrees with me. From your posts I feel you to be a solid Christian but if you continue to insist on us not defending and standing for the Word of God against the non believers then I fear you also have the anti christian spirit.
Remember when Jesus (in about Matt 17) announced that he was going to the cross and Peter said no, Jesus knew exactly what spirit he was of.
And of course Jesus went to the cross and the devil was rebuked. I know I am not going to the cross but I am told to carry it and to rebuke the devil as I go.

    P.S. Gina you go girl!

    >>Yes, but... Jesus was GOD>>

OK, how come Jesus is held up as our example (and so He himself says He is) until the discussion turns against us then... uh, wait a minute...

This really ought to be a no-brainer.
This is exactly the charge the "pious" made against Him "he is the friend of sinners".
I for one thank God that He is.
Brethren, you can have unsaved friends!
Ye are the LIGHT of the WORLD.
In you and in you alone they see the image of Christ (or should).

It is a fellowship where two or more are gathered none the less. It is a service provided free of cost, one would hope that some of the same respect would be shown towards it as one would show the church.

It is not the "genuine seeker" that I am posting about, it is the purposeful "agent of destruction" that I am posting about. Folks here are giving the same level of attention to someone dispatched here to destroy as they do the genuine seeker.

Indeed, there are those seeking, and those who are trying to stop the seeker.

True, it is not my call as to whether or not they are here. But I have many more choices than two. Another choice I have is to expose them for what they are, and to advise those here of their agenda.

    Allow them to continue un-hindered...

Assist them in the furtherance of their agenda...

It is that very "respect" that they are counting on!

I choose to stop what I have started. I created them, I will expose them.

I think christians should be aware of what is going on around them.

And God has called me to repair the damage I have done, to expose the very plans I made for your's (and now my) destruction.

You are a quite different person than the intellegence gathering agents of the BB FFA forum.
    </font>[/QUOTE]Guy,

You keep talking about "exposing them" and engaging them but your not doing either here.

All you're doing here is badmouthing them behind their backs in a forum where you know they can't respond to you.

I don't see how that helps them or us.

Guy, we're not idiots. We all know that thre are a lot of trolls out there and, like I said, the best way to handle a troll is to just ignore them.

But there are plenty of guests who stop by with less sinister motives.

They may sincerely be seeking which is great because there are a lot of people here who can answer their questions and, hopefully, point them in the right direction. They might be looking for lively debate which is also OK because I trust the Gospel to stand up against any skepticism. Or, they might just be stopping in to say "hi". I don't know.

As long as they're friendly and not here to attack, I enjoy talking to them.

Usually, it's not about lofty spiritual type things, but about pop-culture or politics.

(NOTE TO ATHIEST LURKERS: why don't you guys ever just want to talk about music or things like that? I'd like to know what you think about music and books and "stuff".)

Arrowman's pretty cool. There's another guy who usually turns up in threads with Arrowman who's alright (whoever you are, sorry I can't remember your name). I just enjoy talking to folks. What can I say?

    Guy,

You have distinguished two types of Atheists on this board, seekers and destroyers. And you encourage witnessing to seekers, yet ignoring destroyers because it would do no good and further their agenda.

You also identify yourself as a former chief of destroyers sending these lackeys to do dirty work on Christian boards and other venues.

If God can change the heart of the chief of destroyers and save him from hell, could He not also save the underlings? And isn't it possible the seed could be planted from the responses these underlings received in their disruptive, baiting posts?

Guy is mostly correct, folks. Take a look at the thread I posted in the "All Others" section, and carefully peruse the response from the atheists.

I made it quite clear that I was sharing part of my testimony only, and that I wasn't out to change anyone's mind.

Yet, the overall response from the atheists was to attempt to show where I was wrong, and tear apart my statements.

That exercise alone proves that Guy is mostly correct in his assessment.

In the "Announcements" section, the web master has indicated that this board is going towards a "Baptists ONLY" slant; I agree with that wholeheartedly, because those that frequent the "all others" forum are apparently here only to discredit and destroy.

And no matter how much head knowledge we give them--and most of y'all have given them a bunch--it's the heart knowledge that has to take effect. And I see no inkling of change in their hearts; quite the opposite, actually. The more head knowledge y'all impart, the more determined they seem to be to harden their hearts against it.

Perhaps a separate "Baptist Board" to take on the challenge of defending our faith against those that have hardened their hearts against the Word?....

I would like to try to explain why I'm down in the "other religions..." section: I gain more knowledge & though I've never considered it to be 'fellowshipping', I guess it is in a way. But, had I known of such things as the "oneness doctrine" years ago, I would have taught our children the errors of it. I knew of life's common things, but I never so much heard of this. So, if just one person can be made aware of what they are all about, then my simple posts will not be in vain. My son's life is ruined because of this 'cult'. I truly believe he is saved, so I know where he will spend Eternity; but his little 4yr.old son may not be so fortunate, because of what he is being taught. True, some may get saved in spite of being in this, but not because of it.

I have discovered a greater danger on the free for all pages. When this thread began it was the question of was it wise for us as Christians to mix with the atheists.
The danger I have saw today is that one of our so called Baptists is spreading his brand of false doctrine amoung the lost down there. I have sent him private messages begging him to stop, but he has yet to read my mail. Instead he has decided to argue with my posts on the thread. I believe the danger is false teaching and added to that is the fact that in front of the atheist's two Christians will argue. Let's save our differences of opinion for our forums.
