Actually I rather enjoyed your answers as they confirmed feelings I have had about Tea Party sympathizers ... paranoid, insecure one line generalizers that are cute phrases, but so far I have seen no real answers to addressing the problems facing us. Can you be specific in what you think needs to be done? No generalities please, concrete ideas.

When they talk about bringing back America to what it was I wish they would be more specific. Which America do they mean? Jim Crow again. Putting people on reservations or in concentration camps that they do not like? Cowboy and Indian America? Articles of Confederation America? Robber Baron era America. Homesteading America?

    Which American do they mean?

    Which American do you mean?

    That's it, crabby. Nicely done.

Pigeonhole people with whom you disagree as inbred, racist mouth-breathers.

Ignore the points we make...because, of course, we are beneath you, and our ideas are stupid and backward.

And then, lecture us about being "loving," and "tolerant."

I doubt I've ever met a more intellectually dishonest poster on the BB.

Keep it up. I need the laugh.

By the way...you're not fooling anyone.

The name "Tea Party" is meant to bring to mind the image of the "Boston Tea Party".

Do you also believe that the Boston Tea Party was a political party too?

This may be as obtuse a post as you'll see on the BB.

Crabby asks this, after seeing specific responses.

How can you debate someone with this type of viewpoint? It is utterly fruitless.

    CTB..."Give me specifics!"
    responders....give specifics
    CTB..."I said, give me specifics!"

    cranial rectitis at its worst...

I won't bother to give you a link but I do seem to recall Obama and Pelosi etal talking about "greedy doctors" and "greedy AIG executives" and "greedy oil companies" and "greedy health insurance companies" and "greedy pharmacutical companies" and "excess profits" and "the rich" and.... etc.

How is it that you are so uninformed?

BTW - I don't accept homework assignments as much as you like to hand them out.

The writer of the source articla sounds like a political hack that doesn't know much about Sarah Palin or the Tea Party, is scared of both, and jealous that their respective messages resonate with so many.

    More liberal elitest POV.
