When former president Jimmy Carter meets with terrorist Hamas leader Khaled Mashall this Friday in Damascus he will apparently violate two federal laws. His eager defiance of the law threatens Americans at home and our troops abroad.

    More Here

The article is prior to Carters visit but the info is good.

    The Logan Act?

Oh please Rev that's about as quaint as the Geneva Conventions and outdated as the constitution. The point about Hamas being a useful idiot now that's true enough. One good enemy could net you billions in unconstitutional foreign aid ya know.

Where was the author of this article when Wolfowitz was meeting overseas with the Bilderberg Group?

    All good points.

The media's trick is to offer up just enough carrots to appear to be neutral or fair to a public anemic for attention to issues and investigative reporting.

Yeah but... People just prefer to be told what to think by "experts and authorites" that's all. And if we can demonize the opposition with this "knowledge" then life is wonderfull and our little group is the best once again.

To much bother to find out what's going on by ourselves and if we do happen to stumble onto a bit of truth we politicize it to death or "toss garbage in the groceries" to avoid the subject altogether.

Truth of the matter is that there is a certain segment of society that act as if they are above the law because for all intents and purposes they are above the law. We won't hold them accountable as we're to engrossed in being a good party member or a good republican or democrat or liberal or conservative or or or what not. Who's guiltier those who break the law or those who refuse to hold all the law breakers accountable?
