It's not on my profile, so I'm starting my own thread. I'm gonna give myself a flower too...:flower:
so........are you going to tell us?
kyredneck, my mom taught me that it's impolite to ask a woman that question! But i'm curious too!!! LOL
Happy birthday, Gina.
Tell you what?
Your age, silly.
I had a great-aunt who insisted ladies did not disclose her age. She told everyone she was 29 and holding. I asked her how old she would be if she let go. Then something happened. She turned 90. She'd skip over the more formal introductions and greet you with, "I'm 90 years old." She was two months shy of her 100th birthday when she went to be with the Lord.
Happy birthday, Gina. I'd send you a flower but you know how people talk....
Aw, that's sweet. I love flowers!
Hubby just bought me two pairs of earrings. (have multiple piercings) So that was cool!
It's alright, Gina.....I'll send you some flowers. (And people can talk about you and me all they want to) :tongue3:
Notice she's still avoiding that "age" question. I'm glad that I wasn't the one who asked her!
Thank you! Yay, flowers!
I am NOT avoiding the age question. I'm just not answering it. :tongue3:
I'm old enough to have a teenager who is less than three years from being a legal adult.
I'm young enough to have a first grader.
I'm older than my best friend, and much, much, much younger than kyredneck.
I thought maybe it was because you have four ears. Happy birthday.
Gina, I'm gonna guess you at the same age of my oldest daughter; she was born in 1972......
........and Happy Birthday!
You doing anything special today?
Thank you for not letting this get by our attention! Here are a few more for your collection...:flower::flower::flower:....Happy Birthday!
Heathen, heretic, sinner, anitchrist!!!!!!!
Oh wait. I have multiple piercings too. hee hee............
You're pretty much right on with the age! Good job.
We didn't have plans today. We went out to pick the earrings, then out to Applebee's for lunch. When we got home I was really tired, and I've pretty much been in bed or trying not to puke until about 10 minutes ago. (hooray for chronic illness!) I opened cards, and I'm gonna give my stomach an hour or a few to calm down and then hubby will probably go get me something for dinner.
It's all in all been a pretty awesome day. One pair of earrings I got were sapphire. I really like those, more than any other stone, although chrysoprasus is a close runner up! Since I chose a sapphire for my wedding band, these earrings match and now I feel all girly and matching and stuff, which just isn't typically me, but this man I married is CHANGING ME! AGH!
I really can't explain how awesome it is to have a husband who acts like this. This behavior wasn't part of my first marriage. I'm getting cards, candy, thoughtfulness...I am so blessed!
