    It's not until next Friday Diane. Dan is taking me out to breakfast that morning. That's all I know at this point. :D

    Don't worry about it Diane. There is just no way to correct someone without it sounding bad. But you know...I didn't mean it that way at all.

    I have a terrible headache today. But I'm on the mend. It wasn't that bad of a flu. And I'm really glad that it happened so late in the week. Mom's don't get sick time right? Dan was wonderful taking care of everything. I hate getting sick. But at least there's a good chance I'll be over it by Friday.

    Dan took the kids out this morning to somewhere he wouldn't tell me. The thing is...when you have kids...they're really not so good with secrets. They went to the mall and bought me that new perfume I like. It's called Blue by Ralph Lauren. Smelled it in a magazine...mmmm. I wonder if I'm ever going to get old enough to not birthdays. People keep telling me that I shouldn't like them anymore. But I can't help it. :D

    Laurenda, there is only one alternative to having a
    birthday -- not having one at all, and that would

    If I lived near Laurenda, for her birthday, I would
    take her out for this dessert: Burnt cream with a
    drizzle of caramel (M-m-m-m!!) Would you want
    southern iced tea with that or do you prefer latte?
