You too, Joseph. I am hoping to see more of His character through deeper study this year.

Happy New Year and God bless y'all! I did what I always do on New Year's Eve ... I slept in the new year! My wife just told me there were lots of firecrackers, kids running up and down the street and dogs barking but I never even twitched! [IMG]

Me too. Only a couple gunshots and fireworks. And a happy new year text page from one of my co-workers at 12:01. Otherwise. I fell asleep at 11:15 during the Weather report.

A Happy New Year to my fellow boarders!

God bless you, Greg, and give you health quickly!

Our new year started off a bit rocky, too. Neighbors around here were shooting off things that made a lot of noise until after midnight. I'm exhausted! Barry is still sleeping. It's pouring rain, and I'm trying to get this cup of tea down so I can go face that rain walking out to the barn to clean up stalls and feed horses!

I don't think we'll make it to church today. Chris is still asleep, too, and it's almost 10 a.m.!

Nevertheless, the rain will stop, the spring will come (and we'll see if bulbs can still survive after being wet for two months!) the land will dry out, and if the Lord does not come this year, then there will be a full year of work to do, and life won't be boring at all!

Happy New Year to all! [IMG]

We just got home from church. We observed the Lord's Supper this morning; a fitting way to start another year.

We're a bit sleepy today, as the surrounding neighborhoods were shooting off fireworks and assorted firearms until about 2:00 a.m.

    Superdave's disclaimer gave me a chuckle :D

Hi and Happy new year! We also observed the Lords Supper this morning, and it was a very meaningful time. This afternoon is our day to lead worship at the nursing home, so we'll be going there, too. No black eyed peas - dis mama cant get it all together, lol. Then back to church for evening activities.
I cant think of a better way to start the year than serving the Lord!
