I'm looking for current information on the Independent Bible Baptist Missions, which was organized in Colorado in 1949 by Harvey H. Springer and other independent Baptist pastors (name adopted in 1950). I didn't find much by searching on the internet. What happened to this organization? Does it still exist? Did it merge with some other group? Was it ever the sole organization or fellowship of any independent Baptists (like BBFI), or was it just a missions agency (like BIMI and BM-M)? I know that Springer was not only president of IBBM, but also of the World Baptist Fellowship in the early 1950s, so I thought IBBM might have just been phased out. Any help appreciated! BTW, here is an article on Harvey H. Springer - someone might be interested.
