    my laptop battery is shot (or near enough) and they have great prices.

    I just bought one on ebay for about $50. Most other places were charging about $80.

    Check froogle or pricewatch. If you go with a reseller, check resellerratings for reviews.

    I have always gotten them from batteries plus.
    It is a national chain.
    NOte sure if there is one in your area but you can check www.batteriesplus.com
