The Beverly LaHaye - Terri Blackstock series?

    It contains 4 books.

    #1 - Seasons Under Heaven
    #2 - Showers in Season
    #3 - Times and Seasons
    #4 - Season of Blessing

I am on the last of the four now and they are wonderful books. Easy to follow story line, gets you involved with the characters. And it was wonderful to see what God can do in peoples lives.
I couldn't put the books down and I am not an avid reader!
Especially since my car accident. I had brain damage so bad they didn't think I was going to be able to talk etc..

So My comprehension is very bad.

I am thinking about starting a new series of books by Terri Blackstock called "Second Chance Series".
I am also looking into the Milford Series by Jan Karol. Has anyone read any of these series? If so are they easy to read?

I have read the first three, but I have not read# 4. I liked them, although I felt they were for younger women. I'm sorry, I have not read any of the others mentioned.

Our daughter in law bought me 5 of the Blackstock books but I haven't had a chance to read them. I already had a waiting lists and some to finish. They do look good tho.

Terri Blackstock is one of my favorite writers, but I actually prefer her suspense novels, like the Suncoast Chronicle series and the Newpointe 911 series. I only read the first one in the series she wrote with LaHaye...it was good, just not one of my favorites.

I loved the women of Cedar Circle. I felt that they were friends, and I grieved along with the girls in them. I'm not a mom, so maybe I related more to Annie with her love for missions and her love for Sylvia. Sylvia reminds me of my adopted Gramma.

If you liked those books, you'd also probably enjoy the "Sister Circle" series by Nancy Moser and Vonette Bright. I believe they are titled "The Sister Circle" and "'Round the Corner." I really enjoyed them.

I think you will really like the Mitford series of books by Jan Karon. They are very readable and I'm telling you, you will want to live in Mitford!
