Hasn't God ALWAYS saved/elected out His "faithful remnant?"

The Lord freely determined through out history to save out/reserve unto Himself a remnant , chosen and saved by His will and grace ?

Yes as these two verses prove.

Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to [the image of] Baal.

These during the time of Elijah by grace were reserved by God.

Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

These during the time of Paul.

    And so also currently today.

Now, are they called by grace for the purpose of God which includes eternal life with the balance going to hell or something else? What mystery of his will has he made known unto them?
