    Have I proved my point that this is no longer a real debate forum?

    I submit that if we can discuss keeping pennies, if we like hand towels, what kind of cream we put in our coffee, how we like our eggs, etc. here on the Debate Forum once reserved for serious topics, it is no longer a true debate forum.

    Let's debate it!

    Btw, for the uninitiated, this started with my complaint about the "best coffee" thread on that thread.

    it says baptist only, not debate only. and your the one who started all the nondebate threads, what, thinking because it was a debate forum no one would post?

    But it says Baptist Debate Forums above. That's the whole point of them and has been since I've been here.

    Very rarely have there been friendly discussions. The Fellowship forums are for that fluffy stuff.

    I does say baptist debate forums, but it does not say debate only, it says baptist only.
    And I've been here a long time and theres always been the occasional nondebate thread in this forum.
    And as I said already, your the one who started all the nondebate topics. And now complain about the nondebate topics in this fourm. Aren't you actually complaining about yourself.
    Some people have in the past stared nondebate topics in this forum becasue they wanted only baptists to post on their topic, a few times it's been more personaly looking for bapstist advice, etc.

    I was hoping someone would complain but no one seems to mind, which is making my point.

    IOW, I may quit the BB because it is so unmoderated and "debate" means nothing here anymore. I'm showing that.

    If you wanted to make a point, then you skewed the results by starting the nondebate threads yourself.

    lets see, a complint because thers not enough arguing on this board,
    yep, makes a lot of sense.

    I expected the coffee thread to be moved to "all other discussions" (or whatever it's called), but it obviously never was.

    The debate forums, one would think, would be for debating.
