    I've been wondering about some of the posts. I have come over from the puritan board where the discussions are deep and thought out, and have been disapointed by the lack of depth in my own group the baptists. It seems that style of worship and questions of UFOs drugs and other things are the most prevelant. Lets get deep!

    Pastor,

    There is a definate ebb and flow on the board. There will be a certain amount of ongoing bickering. Obviously we represent a wide span of Baptists and beliefs and sometimes those differences get in the way.

    As to the depth -- lead the way! There will be followers I'm sure.

    Edited (again) to add: I don't think that "old, white folks", as you put it, need to be dancing to hip hop in the church parking lot, just that I don't see the reason to bash others who may use a different medium to reach out to a different community. (not you specifically, just in general)

    If you do, someone is going to have to teach me...

    What about a BB dance/aerobic class.... It may even be good for our hearts....

    I could use the exercise... That's for sure!
