Just curious how many of you have been divorced
I've had wife #1 and live with wife #2.
I'm also a Deacon. How does that work?
(I've never been divorced).
I have never been a deacon, though I have done some of the function of the deacon. I have never been divorced. I have never been married.
Hmmmm...Ed you are now celibate? What are you saying?
I don't get it but I am not the smartest cookie in the cookie jar
Mormon? (Just kidding)
Or wife #1 is long gone and Ed lives with wife #2's dead body
You got it :applause:
My first wife died of Liver Cancer in 1999.
In 2002 I married my second wife.
I now live with my second wife. I can't say I'm
NOT CELIBATE cause that is to personal
and anyway -we can't talk about sex in this forum.
Married 25 years to my one and only!!
Having known you for some five years, I'd say you would make a
good deacon. But I belong to a chuch that won't ordain
women deacons (yes, they can do the work of a deacon).
When I went to Grief Groop (1999-2002) at another Baptist Church in
town, they had Lady Deacons. They didn't have any paid
Lady Pastors but did have paid Lady Ministers.
Three thumbs for that :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
I pray you will make it to 75 (years married that is).
It isn't important that cookies be smart .
It is important that cookies be filled
with Chocolate Chips.
Thanks, Bro. Ed! :wavey:
I was children's pastor once. No, twice. It is semantics.
Never divorced. Been married to my sweetie for over 12 years.
Married my high-school sweetheart 30 years ago.
NO! and i hope i never will be!
Been married to the same fellow for 42 years. I think we can read each others minds. But wait , isn't mind reading a no no?
I have been married to the same fellow for 34 years.
Never divorced and with wife #1 for almost 12 years now...and plan to keep her as wife #1 as long as she stays about 25 degrees above room temperature.
I am a child of divorce though...which is part of the reason i'm not a fan of divorce (along with the scriptural reasons).
