    I believe that the Holman Christian Standard Bible is the only true inspired, inerrant word of GOD today.

    But the HCSB was translated mostly by BAPTISTS!!!

    Wait...oh, yeah, we're Baptists. Nevermind then.

    Wait a minute! The NASB(1995) is the only true inspired bible! The NASB of 1977 was a tainted NASB!

    I prefer Good News For Modern Man, The Spirit has led me to hold to it as my final authority. All the changes that have been made by the Ancient Versions and the modern versions are the hiss of Satan in the garden.

    Anywhere a version differs from the GNB, it is not the word of God.

    Ahh but my beloved INSPIRED HCSB was written just this year in 2004, which makes it much better than your ancient GNB. [​IMG]

    I too beleive that the HCSB is th only Word of God!
    Except for the ESV also! They are the only true 21st century versions. Anything dated before 2000 is antiquated.

    Which is why I have put my NASB and NIV on the shelf. The late 20th century language of "All in the Family" and "Welcome Back Carter" is archaic and uninteligable to today's modern reader. ;)

    You all are wrong! The NASB 1995 is the only bible! I had an advanced revelation about the NASB!

    The HCSB changes the NASB!!!!!!

    I am a Geneva Bible man - I think any version after 1600 is a mistranslation.

    Why?

    1+6+0+0=7

    Seven is the number of completion, the Bible had to be complete BY 1600. The last version before 1600 was the Geneva 1599.

    Go ahead. Think it's funny. Mock my Vulgate.

    For more than a MILLENIA it was the ONLY common translation. Millions were saved. All the revivals were from it.

    Great hymns like "Jesus the Very Thought of Thee" and "O Sacred Head Now Wounded" were penned based on this precious version of God's Word.

    I have little use for the johnny-come-lately versions like the Holman, ESV, RSV or KJV.

    You are right - time for a new translation. Maybe I need to re-examine the ESV and HSCB.

    Hmm, my granddaughter was given a picture Bible at church last sunday, are the pictures inspired, and how can I tell if they are from the TR or the critical text?

    What about the leather? is the Genuine inspired? bonded? hardcover? paper? what about the maps? Do you believe the Bible from Genesis to maps? :D [​IMG]
