And you made the classic setup:

Some of the liberal persuasion take the "we were attacked in India" and somehow look for how it's our fault.

Furthermore...it is a complete impossibility to protect every single American on every inch of earth's soil. Yet, there are those who will blame Bush when an American is killed anywhere, anytime.

If you don't mind, explain what you mean. I don't follow.

I never said it was our fault. I said we were attacked in India.

I am the voice of reason who keeps saying you can't fight an evil ideology with a conventional Army. We can kill the messenger but we won't stop the message. There are radical Muslim's being born everyday who are willing to pay the ultimate price in the name of their god.

Sure, I'll be glad to. The policies of Bush in the Middle East has resulted in an entire new generation that hates us. It would not surprise me to see more repurcussions in the form of attacks on the US based upon the reaction in the Muslim world to our invasion of a country that had no capacity to attack us.

Now that is the most disingenuous statement I have ever heard. That culture over there has hated us sense the Barbary Coast Wars.

We had the sy,pathy of most of the world after the 9/11 attacks. Bush completely lost that support when he invaded Iraq. I think that invading Afghanistan to go after the perceived cause of the 9/11 attacks would have been perceived as acceptable. The invasion of Iraq, however, which had nothing to do with 9/11 wous seen as naked American aggression and that is the main reason why we have very few if any allies in the world today.

Does this include the day Dick Cheney went hunting. I'll have to ask Harry Whittington how safe he felt... :wavey:

Lets pray he's a better president then we think he will be. As president there are political pressures, lets hope these pressures lead him to do whats right, instead of what he's said he'd do.

As a youth minister, I often field the question from teenagers, "Why doesn't everybody like me?"

I put this post within that realm of reasoning.

We had the sympathy of England, most of Eastern Europe who recognized that they were free because of Republican Reagan. That about sums it up. Most of the world is like the leftist democrats in this country, they hate America and Bush had nothing to do with it.
