    Hi Everyone! I recently joined BB and I like it already. I am a Baptist and I was saved when I was 8 years old. My dad is a pastor in Canada. He recommended me to BB because he thought I would like it. He was right! I really haven't been able to meet any Christian teens lately, so I thought that I could become friends with people while strengthening my faith and Baptist heritage. I hope you all will like talking with me.

    NC a great state??? Where did you get this wad of misinformation from??? Any state that has "Tar Heels" and "Blue Devils" in it, is FAR from great.....LOL J/K Sissy!!

    My brother used to live in Toronto.
    Has your dad ever heard of Swiss Pantry Donuts?

    I currently live in NY, but have lived in several States as well as 7 years in Germany while stationed with the US Army.

    Hi Kraftyhorselover,

    Welcome to Baptist Boards. I'm a new member too as of today. I'm so glad that your dad recommended you to this site. It's a wonderful way to ask many questions and get other people's understandings of various topics in the Bible.

    I know that you mentioned that you have not found any Christian teens lately. I'm so happy to hear that you are trying to fellowship with other believers. It's so good to stay in close contact with Christians. It's easy to kind of stray away if you get around the wrong crowd of people. We need to be equally yoked. (relationships, friendships, etc).

    Good for you for searching out other Christian friends. I just closed my eyes and said a prayer for you, asking God to please bring some really sweet, Christian friends into your life. What a blessing that will be.

    Let us know when you find some good Christian gals to hang out with. So, we can praise Him for answering our prayers.
