I'm having such a hard time finding a new Bible. I don't want to give up mine because I love everything about mine - the size, the feel, the references, all of my copious notes - but my eyesight is going for reading and even with reading glasses, it's getting harder to read the 8 point print. I need at least 10 point at this point. :D What I had before was the ESV Personal Reference Bible https://www.crossway.org/bibles/esv-personal-reference-bible-3219-tru/

So here is what I'd love:

    Single column
    No red letters
    References but no study notes
TruTone cover (fell in love with this on this Bible)
Just maybe slightly bigger than my current Bible
    Solid pages for writing on

I think I like the large print reference but it has Jesus' words in red and I'm not a fan of that (it's actually harder to read). So, any thoughts?

I looked for a year, but never found one that satisfied my needs. They all just kept convicting me of stuff. (Kidding)

I ended up doing something I never thought I would. I got a Bible app for my tablet. I like the ability it offers for notes and highlighting.

I know that's not what you are looking for, just wanted to say that I understand the difficulty in finding a Bible that "fits".

Thanks Jon. I have Bible apps on my phone, iPad and Kindle and I love them as well but when I go away on the boat or I'm at camp, I prefer a paper Bible (less electricity needed! LOL). I have switched over to pretty much all ebooks but with my Bible, I just.like.paper. :)

I prefer paper bibles too, so nice to smell and feel them when you read it.
Check this one out, this has 10.5 pt.
