ONE OF THE BEST posts I have ever seen, incorporating the greatest challenge to pastors everywhere, and to his flock! I weep because I know no one who meets the criteria. :tear:
I personally know of 2 that meet at least 9 of the 10....

You can find a whole slew of them in the Unregistered Baptist Churches in America. They are not looked upon here on this board with any respect. They are the outcast and the scarlet blemish on Politically Correct Baptists.
Thank you for that explanation Bartimaeus. I was wondering why sometimes I feel like a stranger in a strange land on this board, I love those UBF pastors.

There are alot more men who are not a part of the UBF that are unregistered. I am not part of it and I consider myself unregistered. No problem with the UBF, I guess I'm just a little more independant than that. I have lots of friends inside the fellowship and outside. Thank the Lord.
What does unregistered mean? Unordained?
And what is the UBF ?

The unregistered Baptists believe that to be true to the Scriptures and the Baptist Distinctive of "The entire separation of Church and State" (I believe Orchard in his book on Baptist history stated it this way) is to operate a church/ministry without any affiliations, alliances or contract/covenants with the government. It is to operate with absolutely no affinities at all between the church/ministry and the government.
The UBF is an acronym for the Uregistered Baptist Fellowship which is a fellowship of Baptist pastors who believe and practice the position stated above.
