I can't print out my tax returns!

    They won't load in Adobe.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe several times to no avail.

I keep getting the message..."License Agreement Not Accepted".

I am using Windows XP, IE 6. I tried Mozilla Foxfire and it didn't work either.

    Can anyone help?

How did you complete the forms? With Adobe or browser?

I used IE with Turbo Tax just like I have for several years. I have never had a problem printing them before.

They are in PDF format when I try to print them. They won't even load...

Are you trying to print from Turbo Tax, or did you save a copy of the forms?

Is it Turbo Tax online, or did you purchase the software?

I would try to save a copy of the form and then open with Adobe Reader rather than with the Adobe plugin.

    Foxit Reader.

A fraction of the size of Adobe Reader, but it does the same thing. it opens up in a fraction of the time, too. the download is only 2.13MB, so it's not as huge as Adobe, either.

Bill: I cannot even view the form to save it.

    I do Turbo Tax online.

I have been using Adobe Reader. What puzzles me is I've never had a problem before, but my PC will not accept the Adobe license agreement. I had my PC worked on a couple of months ago. I'm wondering if they 'checked' something to stop Adobe from opening up. Any ideas?

Trotter: I will try that and let you know if I'm successful.

    Thanks, guys!

Foxit won't do it either unless I am doing something wrong.

Right now I have the tax file saved to my desktop, but haven't found ANYTHING that will open it! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I can open it with Works, Word, Notepad, Wordpad and IE....but it all looks like GREEK!

The file extension is .tax. Any way I can change that to .wps or .wks or .doc or ANYTHING???

Looks like it is a tax prep program file and doubt you could open it without the software that made it.

Can't you get back into the online program and print it?

If it's adobe, it should be a .pdf file. I just did mine with Turbotax online a few days and didn't have any problems. I would also suggest logging back in to Turbotax and trying to re-save the docs in pdf format. That should enable you to open it with adobe.

It was a .pdf file initially and Adobe could not load it because my computer would not accept the license agreement.

Contact Turbo Tax and let them help you with it. Since it is their program, they should atleast be able to convert it for you.

I have contacted them 6 times so far and they keep telling me to do the same thing over and over and it is not doing any good.

I guess I'll have to break down and call them.

Sue, it sounds like Adobe won't open in your browser. And what saved to your computer, with the .tax extension, won't be recognized by Adobe.

    PM me.
