Some people believe the gifts of the Spirit ceased with the Early Church. Some people believe the gifts never ceased.

Is it possible, though, that the prophecy of Joel, repeated in Acts, is being fulfilled today, especially if it is true we are living, as some believe, in the Last Days?

Peter spoke a short 50 days after Christ rose from the dead was willing to quote Joel 2 where JOEL SAID "17 " AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,' God says, "THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;

But Christ pointed HIS followers to the end of the great tribulation in Matt 24 saying "and then shall the end come".
