Just because you have, Daisy, doesn't mean everyone has.

Neener neener to you too, carpro.

It wasn't just I who posted on this unoriginal diatribe. It was open to everyone.
What is the point of a rehash?

Its only a rehash if you involve yourself in it.

You don't seem to be on top of your game today, Daisy.

This is just another subject you won't deal with. That's OK, but why engage at all?

The current Bush administration is making lots of progress in destroying America:

And the Democrats bear just as much blame as do the Republicans.

Revmitchell, you were the one who posted it just last month and LE participated. Click here for previous, still open discussion

Neener, neener to you, too.

I've already dealt with it at length a month ago. That thread is still open - go look here (linkie).

I just don't see the point of opening another thread just like the other thread. That one didn't even make it to page four.

    Then don't read it.

But just looking at the national debt increasing by $500-600 billion per year should be sufficient to understand that the article is quite accurate.

And yet as a result of the tax reduction more tax revenues are pouring into the government couffers and the debt is being reduced at a greater rate than expected.

If you will read the article in its fullness you will see that the author says our debt isnt near what most others are in the world.

I wonder why that is so. We have fewer taxes than the folks across the lake have. I guess supply side economics shines through even after the 99-2000 recession, 911, the war, and rising gas prices. Capitalism strikes again.

You mean that misleading story in which the White House touted that the federal deficit will be "only" $296 billion for the fiscal year ending September 30?

If one looks at the national debt figures he will see that so far during this fiscal year, with about 2.5 months remaining, that the national debt has already increased by $476 billion. And if one looks at how much the national debt increased during the twelve month period, June 30, 2005 through June 30, 2006, one can see that it increased by $584 billion.

Therefore, this alleged federal deficit number of $296 billion is shown to be just a bunch of hooey.

Deceptive information promulgated by the federal government - par for the course.

People really should avoid drinking the government kool-aid.
