    ... Skypair -- back from "Ike" hell here in Longview! Power just got turned back on at 11AM ... internet at 6:15PM!

    YIKES!! Women and children first -- get OUTTA here! He'll be terrorizing Christians from here to eternity!! :laugh: :laugh:

    Glad you are safe, Sky.

    I have an aunt who lives about a hour from Galviston (sp?). Lost contact with her due to power outages. They didn't leave because they were not part of the evac portion but before power went out she was talking with my mom on the internet say how much water was rising there and that it looks like it was going to be much worse then what they were told.

    Ike was a monster demonstration of power. From Galveston to Chicago.. Wow!


    We've still got about 1/4-1/2 million without power in KY.

    I'm finally catching up on the pics of destruction in S Texas. Besides feeling like we were living in a cave for 65 hours, we had it easy, Thank God! :godisgood:
