Newbie here...my name is Marie and I have been married almost 26 yrs and am the mom of a 19 yr old son. I love music, cats and scrapbooking. (not necessarily in that order) I am also the teen SS teacher at my church, and also teach a class on wed nites for the 6-12 yr olds. I love the Lord with all my heart and have never regretted the day I accepted him as my Savior!:godisgood:

I live in NC, and look forward to getting to know yall here!

Glad to have you on board!
I used to live in Winson-Salem. I was going to attend Piedmont Bible College, but ended up re-upping in the Army.
Hope to see many of your posts, but remember, they strictly enforece the 1,000 post per day rule - you go one over the limit and

Welcome to the Baptist Board, Marie. How is it possible to teach 6-year-olds and 12-year-olds together? I would think that would be difficult since there is such a vast difference in their attention span and ability to understand--not to mention all the ages in between. That's a rather wide range of ages to teach together.

it is hard at times..it started out being just 9-12 yo, and the one that did the younger group stopped coming on wed nite, so I adopted them in my group. it's ok, we don't have a long service on Wed nite...
