Hillary says, "Al-Jazeera is Real News!"

I think it is really ironic that some of you guys that most mistrust government are now advocating government-sponsored or wholly owned news agencies.

Bias exists in ALL news reporting -- fact of life that we have to deal with. What appears to be "news" on some agencies is in fact propaganda. I recommend fact checking everything, including this thread.

 

Who are these guys you speak of?

I don't think anyone is advocating government run new agencies (I know I'm not), but are saying that these particular news agencies actually report news and not bickering talking heads commentating on the news surrounded with commercials.

Comparing Fox to Aljazeera is akin to comparing someone to Hitler. It means you have no real point and you are only trying to demonize as much as possible.

Ignoring the left side bias in most other news agencies and pretending Fox is the lone wolf of bias is very difficult to believe.

Those are very extreme views and very nice. I say wow because it is highly surprising someone would go there. I have heard of it but never seen it.

 

Then you shouldn't be commented on things you are ignorant about.

 

Quite an extreme statement seeing that you have never watched their broadcast. Watch the broadcast for an hour or so and see if they are as extreme as you seem to believe they are.

You remind me of a story about my father-in-law. He was ask, "Would you like some ice tea?"

He replied, "No, I do not like ice tea."

"Have you ever tasted ice tea," he was ask.

"No, I have never tasted it."

"Then, how do you know you do not like it?"

 

I have downloaded their app for my iPhone. I am finding it quite good, news without all the trivial rubbish attached to most US sites. When I go to the Fox News site I have to deal with all kinds of stories with pictures of half-n@ked women on the links.

Al Jazeera may work fine as a news source for arab on arab conflicts.

They simply cannot be trusted on anything at all to do with Israel nor any conflict between christian and muslim nor any conflict between the west and arab/muslim countries.

 

I don't trust any news source completely.

However, I do like a news source that is not half fluff. In that regard AJ is far superior.
