Not particularly prescient, are they?
I do not think that it will be a cakewalk for the democrats like many of the presidential scholars seem to.
I recall the same thing being said by the liberal media in regards to Kerry 4 years ago. How did that work out?
If you want my honest opinion I believe that the Massachusetts Supreme Court lost the election for Kerry.
How is that so?
A short time before the election the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriages are legal there. That cause a firestorm which the Republicians used very effectively, and that is understandable. Any politicial party will use whatever they can to win. I sincerely believe that if that decision had been postponed until after the election Kerry would have won. It was a very close election. We will never know for sure, but that is my opinion.
I thought it was those evil Swiftboat Veterans for the Truth.
No one with a mind listened to the Switboaters or to any other extremest special interest group ... and we should follow that same advice this election.
Close race? Bush won by 4 million votes!
I intend to follow that advice and refuse to listen to the Democrats and Libertarians as well as the other extremist groups, and vote for Sen. McCain.
